Amazing grazing
Want to make sure your party food looks as good as it tastes? It’s as easy as 1,2,3.
1. Divide your party food into themes
Perhaps a veggie or vegan selection, a classic combo of meats and cheese nibbles, or a selection of sweet treats – and arrange them on dishes, plates and boards so that you guests can help themselves. Wooden boards will give you a stylish neutral background for colourful feasts; brighter plates and bowls will add a pop of colour. Don’t be afraid to get creative with whatever you’ve got in the kitchen – try using cake plates, pizza stones or even baking trays.
2. Once you’ve got your main items in place
Fill in the gaps with sides. Add healthy veg, like peppers, carrots and cucumber, alongside crowd-pleasers like crisps and breads. Include dips, like hummus or sweet chilli sauce if your party food comes with a dip, decant it into a small bowl that works with the rest of your scheme. Put items like olives or nuts in bowls or tall glasses so they’re easier to pick up.
3. Make sure everyone has access to napkins, plates and cutlery
Shake up a few Christmas cocktails and enjoy the time with your friends and family.
