It doesn’t take too much to transform your day-to-day garden space into a thing of beauty with a festival-like charm.
Here are a few of our top tips on being able to make it happen, without breaking the bank.
Make sure you throw out your rusty BBQ and bring in the new, because we are going to make sure it gets rolled out at every opportunity we can. We have weeks ahead of us and hopefully plenty of time to enjoy them, and there couldn’t be a better chance to become King, or Queen, of the grill. Bring it on!
Please always make sure the outdoor area around your BBQ is fully protected and you put it out correctly before you move back indoors. Let’s keep ourselves, parks, gardens and wildlife safe this summer by only using disposable BBQs at home.
From string solar lights, to creating your own bunting out of old sheets, material or even some paper and paint, you can make sure you transform your space into that cool festival zone.
Why not even add a small paddling pool (great for kids and adults alike) or pick up some garden toys to give it that extra edge.
With sunshine comes a few other niggles, which many of us may have already experienced at festivals in the past. So don’t forget to slap on the suncream (even if it’s a little cloudy) have your hay fever tablets to hand before you step out with the tunes, food and drink and make this a comfortable event for us all, without a sun burn mark in sight!
