Co-operative Travel in Bourne has launched its annual Easter Egg Appeal in a bid to support people in need in the area – and customers and the community are being asked to offer their support.

The Co-operative Travel at 1 Abbey Road is collecting Easter eggs for Bourne Foodbank.

The Easter eggs will be distributed to families in the area just in time for Easter Sunday.

Travel branch manager Sarah Mantle said: “We’re asking our customers and friends to help us donate as many Easter eggs as possible, to the local Bourne Foodbank.
“It is the eleventh year that Central England Co-operative has organised this activity and we are hoping to put smiles on even more children’s faces this year.”

If you would like to donate an Easter egg, simply take it to the Central England Co-operative travel branch in Bourne by 5pm on Saturday, 8 April.
