Central England Co-operative Travel is again collecting donations this Christmas, for the Amazon Children’s Ward, Peterborough City Hospital.

The stores in Bourne, Market Deeping and Spalding will be collecting donations from now until the 19 December, to help children who are unwell this Christmas. Both customers and colleagues are donating to the charity to provide children’s toys, pens, colouring books, toiletries and also tea, coffee and other refreshments for parents.

Sarah Maltby, Branch Manager at the Bourne Travel Branch said: “We chose this charity as through no fault of their own, people and families can experience difficult times through illness.”

The Santa’s Suitcase initiative has been a great success for the Society, and each Central England Co-operative Travel store chooses the charity that it collects for and donates to.

If you would like to help by donating any of the items needed, please go into the Central England Co-operative Travel Branch at 1 Abbey Road, Bourne PE10 9EF, the Spalding branch at Beales Department Store, 7 Market Place, Spalding, PE11 1SL or at the Spalding branch at 7 The Precincts, Market Deeping, Peterborough, PE6 8FG and speak to the teams. The closing date for donations is 5pm on 19 December 2018.
