Central England Co-operative invests £193,000 in revamping Food Store in Broughton Astley

Central England Co-operative has opened the doors to its refurbished supermarket in Broughton Astley following a major investment.
The Main Street store has been given a £193,000 makeover to provide its members and customers with an improved shopping experience.
The revamped store now boasts an updated product range to better reflect customers’ requirements, fresh decoration and an improved kiosk and checkout area inside the store.
Other new additions include a free water refill station in store so customers can fill their own bottles and a brand new customer toilet.
Store Manager Tom Sawbridge said: “Our team has been so excited. The revamp looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks.
“I would like to thank our members and customers for their patience during the refurbishment and I hope they enjoy the changes as much as we do.
“All of us here at the Broughton Astley Supermarket are proud to be part of such a great community in Broughton Astley and are looking forward to welcoming customers, new and old, to come and enjoy our Food Store.”
The Main Street Food Store is open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9pm and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special. The offer includes fresh and local fruit and vegetables, an instore bakery, chilled beers and wines, fresh and frozen product and Irresistible product ranges.
The store also offers an instore bakery, car park, cash machine, Collect Plus, Paypoint, food bank, and Lottery, as well as a lifesaving defibrillator.
