Central England Co-operative will be opening its doors to let people take a look around its brand new funeral home in Caister-on-Sea.

The new funeral home is based in Yarmouth Road and colleagues will be holding a special open day from 1pm to 7pm on Wednesday, 19 October, to show people around the premises and answer any questions.

Funeral Director Stephen Dye said: “This is a very exciting time for my team and preparations for the big day are well under way.

“On the day locals will have the opportunity to meet the Caister-on-Sea team, learn more about pre-paid funeral plans and to take a look around.

“We will be continuing to offer the same level of high service as we have done in Caister for the last 21 years.

“We look forward to seeing you on the day and showing you our new surroundings.”

The funeral home offers a 24-hour service, seven days a week.  In addition to arranging funerals, Stephen and his team are also able to offer advice on floral tributes, monumental masonry, funeral stationery, pre-paid funeral plans and probate advice.  The team can be contacted on 01493 722240.

Members of the public and local dignitaries will also be invited back to the funeral home on Friday, 25 November, for a special dedication ceremony.
