Central England Co-operative opened the doors to four new Travel Stores in Leicestershire as part of a £45,000 investment.

The opening of the brand new Travel stores – based in Food Stores in Oakham, Ibstock, Castle Donington and Glenfield – comes after the Society reached an agreement to transfer six Travel branches in total from Thomas Cook earlier this year.

Castle Donington Travel Store Manager Lorraine Jeffries said: “Our teams were so excited to finally allow our members and customers to see our new-look travel stores across Leicestershire.

“It looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how they look and the different products and services now available.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank customers for their patience during the refresh and hopefully everyone will enjoy the revamped store as much as we do.

“All of us here at Central England Co-operative Travel are proud to be part of such a great community and are looking forward to welcoming all customers to come and enjoy our new travel stores.”

The new Travel Stores will offer a range of holidays at competitive advice – backed by open, honest and totally impartial advice for all travel needs.

The stores will also offer competitive currency exchange rates, a wide choice of tour operators and is ABTA and ATOL approved.

Customers will also be able to enjoy further benefits if they use their Central England Co-op member card when buying a holiday at the new store.

The Travel Stores will open from 9am – 5.30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 9.30am – 5.30pm Tuesday.
