Goodwill To All - Central Co-op spreads goodwill to everyone throughout the festive season

Central Co-op has revealed that its Goodwill To All campaign is returning in 2022 to spread cheer throughout the festive period.

This year’s goodwill campaign is Buy One, Give One Hot Meal in partnership with FareShare Midlands, where 25p from the sale of products in Central Co-op’s Star Deals range will be donated to FareShare Midlands to help provide a hot meal for someone in need this Christmas.

Simone Connolly, CEO of FareShare Midlands, said: “We are as passionate as ever in our mission to redistribute surplus food and help local charities provide a lifeline to people in real need. As the Cost of Living Crisis worsens, and vulnerable families across the Midlands find themselves struggling even more, we know we couldn’t do this without our partner, Central Co-op. We give our heartfelt thanks for their generous and consistent support.”

Central Co-op continues to collect contributions to its food bank appeal in support of people who are in need, as charities have reported a major fall in donations at the same time as increased demand. Food collection points can be found in all of the Society’s stores. Co-op shoppers are urged to help spread goodwill in any way they can this year.

New to the Goodwill To All campaign for 2022 is an opportunity for Central Co-op Members and customers to win £1000 in Co-op vouchers through an exciting Goodwill Prize Draw – providing a lucky winner with a spectacular boost to December’s festivities!

Taking part is easy – anyone who makes a purchase from a Central Co-op store within the month of November will be able to enter their receipt details into an online Prize Draw here. The winner will be selected at random on the 1st December.

There is no restriction to the value of purchase or the number of receipts that Members and customers can enter to increase their chances!

Central Co-op also continues to spread goodwill through the return of its popular Christmas Toy Appeal which brings joy to so many children every year, including children displaced by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Shoppers can contribute through toy collection points found in all of the Society’s stores and funeral homes throughout November.
