Colleagues from a Central England Co-operative Food Store in Suffolk have raised over £100 for a local good cause.

The Halesworth Food Store, in Saxons Way, hosted a collection for Halesworth Events Management, a group that raises funds to support community events across the area.

It raised a total of £128.16 and the money will go towards the festive lights switch-on.

Nicole Suchy, Team Leader at Halesworth Food Store, said: “The team behind Halesworth Events Management do a great job and we were more than happy to support them.

“We held a collection and would like to thank all of our customers and members for digging deep to raise over £100.”
