Central England Co-operative is on hand this Valentine’s Day to offer everything from a luxury meal in to mouth-watering chocolates to sweep your loved one off their feet.

Society stores are opening longer and later this February 14th to ensure customers find it simpler than ever to show that special someone they care.

Here are seven ways to make sure loved ones feel nothing but heart flutters by heading into Central England Co-operative stores this Valentine’s Day.

1. Raise a glass to your relationship by cracking open the bubbly with English Balfour 1503 Foxwood sparkling wine (£16.99) or get down on one knee and propose with a bottle of our award-winning Prosecco (£7.49).

2. If your other half has more of a sweet tooth, why not pick up a Fairtrade single chocolate rose or Fairtrade milk and white chocolate love lollies (£1).

3. Whether you want to tell your partner you love them or surprise a secret Valentine, there is no better way than with a specially designed flower bouquet. This could be the simple gesture of handing over a single Fairtrade rose (£2) or by expressing your feelings with an Irresistible perfect passion bouquet (£20).

4. Cake lovers will not be left out on the most loved up day of the year as they can share some hot lips cupcakes with their partner (£1.50) or carve up a Co-op Valentine’s chocolate gift cake to share (£4).

5. With Valentine’s Day falling in the week this year, why not treat your other half to a romantic meal in? Food lovers can pick up a mix of pasta, pizza, sides, strawberries and desserts from as little as £5. Those looking to make the evening a little extra special can enjoy an Irresistible garlic and parmesan flatbread, Irresistible steak and a heart shaped punnet of strawberries for under £10.

6. Dessert is often the seen as the romantic course at dinner and Central England Co-operative has put its heart and soul into creating an indulgent pudding to end the evening. Chocolate lovers can enjoy Co-op Valentine’s chocolate melting domes (£4) with a dream chocolate cheesecake torte encased in a chocolate shell. Those looking for a burst of flavour should look no further than the Co-op raspberry and champagne tortes (£3). A mix of red velvet sponge base and creamy vanilla is hand-finished with a raspberry and champagne glaze.

7. Any Romeo or Juliet looking for a last-minute gift can head into Central England Co-operative stores for an array of perfect offering this Valentine’s Day. This includes everything from a Valentine’s Day bear (£3) to a card that simply says ‘I Love You’.
