Members of the public will be able to get a sneak peek at a new Nottingham funeral home as part of a special event.

Central England Co-op Funeralcare is currently getting ready to officially open its new home in High Road, Chilwell, on Monday, 5 March.

In the run up to the launch, colleagues from the home will be opening the doors of the new home to allow members of the public and local businesses to take a behind the scenes tour during an open day on Thursday, 1 March.

Visitors will be able to tour the funeral home and take a look at arranging and visiting rooms as well as other areas where loved ones are cared for following their passing.

Funeral Director Ruth Bartlett said: “We thought this would be an ideal opportunity to showcase our brand new funeral home to the local community.
“We want to welcome members of the public and businesses to come and have a tour and see what we are all about.

“The open day will also offer people the chance to ask any questions they may have about what we do.

“Everyone involved with our new home in Chilwell cannot wait to welcome people to the open day and to be part of this great community going forward.”

The funeral home will host the open day from 11am to 8pm on Thursday, 1 March. All are welcome.
