Stafford goes gold to celebrate the launch of Golden Ticket Giveaway featuring 54,000 prizes

Central England Co-operative stores across Stafford have been decked out in gold as customers get the chance to unwrap an early Christmas present as part of a festive Golden Ticket Giveaway of over 55,000 prizes.

Shoppers heading into the two Central England Co-operative food stores across Stafford will be handed a special golden ticket when they make a purchase at the till.

When they unwrap their festive treat, customers will be in with a chance to win a variety of prizes including a 40” Smart LED TV, Kenwood smoothie maker, Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Co-operative gift vouchers or an Irresistible Fairtrade chocolate bar.

To mark the occasion, all of the stores were given a golden makeover, with staff even getting in on the fun by adding a sprinkle of gold to their uniform.

Wildwood Co-operative Store Manager said: “We were so pleased to be able to give our store a golden makeover to celebrate the start of the special Golden Ticket Giveaway.

“Now all customers have to do is head into store, make a purchase and see what is inside their golden ticket to get an early Christmas present.

“Lucky shoppers could walk away with everything from a new television to some gift vouchers just in time for Christmas.”

The stores included in the Golden Ticket Giveaway are:

• Cannock Road, Wildwood, Stafford
• Stafford Street, Eccleshall

The giveaway will run until the end of December.
