Make Mum Feel Special with Fairtrade Flowers from Central Co-op

Posted by sam bishop | Published: 16/03/2023

Mother’s Day is almost here, and Central Co-op has plenty on offer ahead of Sunday, including Fairtrade flowers in store right now, priced between £5 and £8. These flowers let customers extend the love to communities across the world, as all bunches and single stem roses have now been Fairtrade for more than 10 years.

Members can save £2 with the Irresistible Prosecco and Chocolate deal in store as well, normally costing £12 but reducing to £10 for Members. This includes Irresistible Prosecco and Prosecco Rose along with the Co-op Luxury Collection; Fairtrade Marc De Champagne Truffles; or Salted Caramel Truffles, all Fairtrade and all part of the Irresistible range.

Customers can also head into stores to find cards to show appreciation to mothers across the world, and a range of chocolates to go with it.

Central Co-op extended its Member pricing to over 100 items earlier this year, providing plenty to choose from when it comes to planning the perfect meal for Mum. Recipe ideas can be found on the Central Co-op site, to spoil mothers for the whole day.

These offers even include a 900 ml tub of Vanilla Ice Cream perfect for an after dinner treat this Mother’s Day, reduced to £2.00 for Members, down from £2.40.

For those who have lost their mother or a mother figure, Central Co-op is also hosting an online memorial service from 7pm on Sunday, 19 March, to remember mums who are no longer with us. This will be a non-religious service from Bretby, Staffordshire, including songs, readings, and a special tribute including photographs of people we’ve lost and candle-lighting.

For further details, head to the Central Co-op website, Facebook, and Twitter. Details on becoming a Member can be found on the Membership site
