Win £500 of Vouchers with Central Co-op’s Shop Like A King Competition

With the Coronation only weeks away, Central Co-op is turning up the celebrations by launching its Shop Like A King competition, where Members can win £500 of Central Co-op vouchers. All they need to do is swipe their Membership card while shopping with Central Co-op, until the 8th of May, and they’ll be automatically entered into the prize draw.

Central Co-op is also running a Coronation Stamp design competition, available in stores and on the Central Co-op website, in which royal fans can draw their own stamp to celebrate the crowning of the king, with the winner receiving £20 of vouchers. Stores can also celebrate a local community group in their area too, nominating them to receive a celebratory hamper, with one from each of the four regions (North, South, East, and West) receiving a hamper as a thank you for the great work they do.

This isn’t the only way Central Co-op is celebrating, as special tins of Paddington Bear themed treats are in stock now, including commemorative tins of Marmalade Cookies or teabags, which are now 2 for £6, or £4 individually. Paddington Bear shortbread and tea sets, along with the orange chocolate chunk biscuits and tea set, are also £4.75 each.

In the first week of May Central Co-op stores from across the country will be planting trees to celebrate the coronation as well, partnering with local schools to plant the trees and attach commemoratives plaques. Central Co-op colleagues from across funeral and retail are also invited to pledge their time to support charitable causes in the future, celebrating The Big Help Out announced by Charles III.

This pledge is part of Central Co-op's ongoing commitment to assisting communities through colleague volunteering. For example, colleagues from the Support Centre in Lichfield recently volunteered at Heage Primary School in Belper, Derbyshire, helping to plant trees donated by The Woodland Trust to improve the woodland space on the grounds. In May colleagues have also volunteered to decorate the Mencap space in Halesworth, Suffolk, which can then be used for assisting those with learning disabilities, and during Great Big Green Week last year colleagues also helped clear ponds at Saffron Brook in Leicestershire.

For further details, head to the Central Co-op website, Facebook, and Twitter. Details on becoming a Member can be found on the Membership site
