Absolutely disgusting service, I asked for a Bretby cremation which doesn't include a service due to the fact that the family had in the previous month just cremated my husbands mother and I didn't want to cause anymore distress. Well as soon as that word was mentioned the customer service went!! It was as though the funeral assistant wasn't getting any commission. It didn't get any better as I had to call them to find out when my husbands ashes would be returned to me 4 weeks later after originally agreeing to pay for a courier and being told 7-10 days. I emailed the manager on the 18/4/18 to discuss my complaint and she only bothered to contact me on 26/6/18 because the invoice dept contacted me on the 25!! I would not recommend anyone to use this funeral home, there customer service or lack of and they way they deal with there complaints is disgracefulRead Response
Very professional and understanding throughout! Very helpful. Alison at Huntingdon was lovely towards me when I couldn't cope!
If you want lovely , stress free , organised, support during this terrible time then my advice to you is to use another funeral parlour . They have caused nothing but stress & upset to not only my family but another family . The mistakes made have not been small little errors they have been major ones and not just one or two , quite a few . I will never recommend this company to anyone . Davinia was very helpful despite our ever changing plans. The day of the funeral and subsequent collection of ashes were all handled kindly and with sensitivity. Thank you to all concerned
The staff at co-op funeral care were simply amazing. Their attention to detail was incredible. They gave my son a perfect send-off, and I can not thank them enough!
The people at Huntingdon have been extremely helpful. Davinia, especially, has set a good tone and guided me through the proceedings. As you know, there were problems at the Crematorium outside the Co-op's control. Again, Davinia has been brilliant in trying to sort this out. One blemish, however, was the failure of the Obituary Notice to appear in the Hunts Post when stated. Fortunately, one of the staff was quickly able to rectify that when I rang and the Notice duly appeared the following week.
Excellent service Thankyou for making it a special day
Although the day of the funeral went very well, and the staff who attended were excellent, I was very disappointed with some aspects prior to the day itself. When I was arranging the funeral, I requested an item of my wife's clothing be returned to me, but this was not done or even mentioned to me again. When arranging the music, the company who provides this had the wrong day and time on an email they sent to the funeral home, but this was not spotted by them, and I had to point this out. It took nine days for me to be able to see my wife after she had been taken into their care, and I finally managed to see her the day before the funeral! Finally, when I received the invoice for the funeral, it was some £200 higher than on the estimate. When I queried this, I was told a mistake had been made with the cost of the hearse! Most unsatisfactory, leaving me unsure if I would recommend them.Read Response
Excellent service from the very first m3eting. Alyson was very caring and sympathetic but also very efficient making sure we got what we wanted for the service .On the day of the funeral everything ran like clockwork, could not have been better.Excellent service throughout for which I am very grateful.
