Crisp Cheese Biscuits

Ingredients
- 25g The Co-operative crisp rice cereal
- 70g plain flour
- 50g unsalted butter
- 115g Cheddar cheese, grated
- Large pinch paprika or cayenne
Method

Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas 5. Put the rice cereal into a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin.

Put the flour into a bowl, add the butter and rub together to make fine breadcrumbs.

Add the cheese, crushed cereal and paprika or cayenne, and mix together. Shape the mixture into about 14 balls.
- Place on greased baking trays and flatten the biscuits slightly with a fork. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked and golden.
